- Our Gold Standard
A Legal Record
Unlike a standard translation used for general information, a certified translation is a legal instrument. It must be complete, accurate, and accompanied by a formal declaration of accuracy. This is the only format accepted by government bodies like the USCIS.

- •Attests to completeness and accuracy.
- •Confirms the linguist’s professional qualifications.

Certified vs. Notarized: What’s the Difference?
One of the most common questions we receive. The answer depends strictly on who is receiving your document.
Certified Translation
Confirms the quality & accuracy of the translation. Required for USCIS, Universities, and most Legal proceedings.
Notarized Translation
Confirms the identity of the signer. Required for some Courts, Hague Apostille, and DMVs.
*Dialog One offers both. Simply select the Notary add-on during checkout if required.

Our 4-Step Certified Workflow
📁
1. Secure Upload & Quote
Upload a clear photo or scan of your document to our encrypted portal. You do not need to send us the original physical paper. We analyze the word count and provide an instant transparent quote.
2. Translator Assignment
Your project is assigned to a professional linguist who is a native speaker of the target language. We match the content to the linguist’s expertise (e.g., legal experts for court docs).
3. Editing & QA
A second linguist reviews the translation against the original to ensure every date, number, and name is perfectly transcribed. This ‘two-set-of-eyes’ approach guarantees 100% accuracy.
4. Certification & Delivery
We merge the translation with the signed Certificate of Accuracy. You receive a high-resolution PDF via email instantly (accepted for online submissions) and can request hard copies.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the translation include an official certificate?
Yes. Every single document order includes a signed and notarized “Certificate of Translation Accuracy” on Dialog One letterhead. Because we are an authorized Notary Public for the State of Minnesota, this is included standard with every order.
Do I need to pay extra for Notarization?
No. Unlike many other agencies, Dialog One is an authorized Notary Public. We notarize every single certified translation we issue at no additional cost to you. This ensures your document is accepted by courts, government agencies, and universities without hassle.
Do I need Notarization?
Not always. USCIS generally does NOT require notarization, only certification (which we provide standard). However, some courts or vehicle agencies do requires a notary seal. Please check with your receiving agency. We offer notarization as an add-on service.
How do I send you my document?
You can simply take a clear photo or scan of your document and upload it through our secure quote form. You do not need to mail us the original.
