Step-by-Step Guide: Requesting Scheduled Interpreters

1. Start Your Order

Click on the Appointments Tab: Begin by navigating to the “Appointments” tab in the system.

2. Create a New Appointment

Click on “Create New Appointment”: Once you’re in the Appointments tab, click on the “Create New Appointment” button to start the scheduling process.

3. Fill Out the Appointment Form

Enter Specific Information: Complete the form with the necessary details for your appointment:

Type of Language: Select the language needed for the interpretation.

Language Combination: Specify the combination of languages involved.

Service Delivery: Choose how you want the service to be delivered:

On-site: Select this if you need an interpreter physically present.

Third-Party Platform: Choose this option if the meeting will take place on platforms like Zoom or other web conferencing tools.

Scheduled Telephonic: Opt for this if the interpretation will be conducted over the phone.

Date and Time: Enter the date, starting time, and duration of the appointment.

4. Save and Submit Your Request

Click on “Save”: After filling out the form, click “Save” to submit your request.

5. Important Scheduling Considerations

Minimum Lead Time: Ensure that you schedule the session at least two days before the appointment time for normal languages.

Exotic Languages: For exotic languages, schedule at least one week in advance to allow sufficient time to secure an interpreter.
